NC+ Hybrids dealers receive real time information from new internet-based service

Lincoln, Nebraska
May 3, 2002

As part of the on-going effort to increase the efficiency of operations for their dealers, NC+ Hybrids has begun offering an Internet-based information service called DealerNET.

"NC+ DealerNET gives our dealers real time access to critical information with regard to running their seed business," NC+ Director of Sales and Marketing Gene Kronberg said. "I think the overriding issue is that the pertinent information is available instantly to our dealers. They don’t have to wait around for the next supply bulletin or confirmation of an order acceptance. They also know that the information they are viewing is not obsolete."

Through DealerNET, authorized NC+ dealers can access current product supply information, view product contents of the warehouse, change personal and customer profile information, receive instant order confirmation and receive current reports on backorders, customer prospects and District Sales Manager communications.

"We feel strongly that the success of our business lies in timely, accurate communications and the processing of information. The better job we do at that, the more valuable we are in terms of providing the information the dealer needs to build a seed business," Kronberg said.

The NC+ Computer Services Division developed DealerNET internally, allowing NC+ to customize the program to fit the specific needs of its dealers. Local control also provides more flexibility to easily change the program as the needs of the dealers change. DealerNET is accessible to NC+ dealers on the company website with a predetermined login name and password.

"With the implementation of DealerNET, NC+ is among the leaders in the seed industry in providing our dealers the most convenient and quickest method of accessing information critical to their success," Kronberg said.

NC+ Hybrids, based in Lincoln, NE, is one of the largest independent seed companies in the United States. Farmer-owned for over 40 years, NC+ nationally markets corn, soybeans, grain sorghum, forage sorghum, sudangrass, alfalfa and sunflowers. More information at www.nc-plus.com.
