The popular
Community Choice local financing program from Syngenta Seeds
headlines the company's 2003-2004 financing options for
NK® Brand seed. A unique
program, Community Choice allows growers making a qualifying
purchase of NK Brand seed to finance the order through a
participating local lender with a guaranteed 3 percent interest
rate buy-down from Syngenta Seeds.
To
participate in the NK Brand Community Choice program, growers
simply provide a copy of their qualifying NK Brand seed order to
a participating local lender. Seed must be purchased between
October 1, 2003, and February 27, 2004, and early pay discounts
apply to the purchase, as well.
"Growers
receive a competitive interest rate, usually only available
directly from programs delivered through major financing
companies, and they have the advantage of working with a local
lender they know and trust," said Marc Hennen, NK Brand corn
marketing manager. "Plus, local lenders can expand their
services and the money stays in the community, supporting the
local economy."
Community
Choice features quick and easy enrollment for both lenders and
growers. Lenders sign a buy-down agreement with the company,
and once they receive confirmation information, they can
immediately start enrolling NK Brand seed customers in the
program. Then, with the grower's completion of one simple
document, the loan is like any other from their local bank.
"We
currently have a large number of local lenders enrolled in
Community Choice across the country, and that number continues
to grow rapidly, offering NK Brand purchasers ample access to
the program," Hennen added. "Plus, if a grower's preferred
local lender is not already certified for the program, the
lender can easily sign up."In addition to Community Choice, NK
Brand seed buyers may choose AgriFit(tm) financing, which can
include products from Syngenta Crop Protection and interest
rates as low as 1 percent below prime (variable), depending on
purchase dates.
