Beck’s Superior Hybrids
is hosting their annual Pre-Harvest Field Show. This four-day
event will be held September 8-11, 2005, at Beck’s plant one
mile north and one mile west of Arcadia, Indiana. Thursday
through Saturday the Show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday
from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A worship service led by Beck’s
Chaplain, Mark Knapp, is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
on Sunday.
Beck’s Field Show offers more
than a dozen tours including their extensive practical farm
research and product information tours which showcase new high
yielding products and the new Herculex Rootworm technology
licensed from Dow AgroSciences. Other tours include a tile
ditching demonstration, fungicide research, nitrogen research,
15” vs. 30” corn rows, and the Intellicoat Early Plant corn from
Landec Ag. There will be tours on harvest and drying operations,
seed conditioning, an office tour, as well as a tour of the
newly constructed greenhouse. Every tour provides the farmer
with valuable information, regardless of whether they use Beck’s
products or not.
Major breakthroughs in yield
can be expected with Beck’s new hybrids in 2006. Beck 4996 and
5444 are two new hybrids that have shown 12 to 20 bushels more
yield compared to some other leading hybrids. New soybean
products like 321NRR and 333RR show over 3 bushels more yield.
Ways to raise yields, lower
cost, save time, and build family trust are the key benefits
Beck’s are offering their customers this year. During the Field
Show, Beck’s staff will be highlighting new products and money
saving programs for the coming year. The “Maximizer” Deal will
be offered where farmers can receive $3 per unit off each 3
units of Beck’s soybeans for every unit of Beck’s corn
purchased, or $6 per unit off each 3 units of Beck’s soybeans
for every unit of Roundup Ready Corn 2 (RR) and Roundup Ready
Corn 2 stacks (CBRR, RWRR, CBRWRR) purchased.
With the Rootworm Avenger
Program, farmers who purchase at least 12 units of YieldGard
Rootworm hybrids and/or YieldGard Rootworm stacked hybrids save
an additional $15 to $30 per unit. The Build with Beck’s program
rewards the farmer $10 per unit on increased units over last
year’s order.
Beck’s will also be sharing
with farmers who attend how each farmer can maintain their
profitability of their soybeans by using Beck’s Sure Gro 130
“Profit Pack”. This new approach to packaging and coating
soybeans will revolutionize the way farmers begin to think about
soybean planting. Sure Gro Powered by Cruiser insecticide also
gives farmers an opportunity to increase yields by controlling
insect pests like soybean aphids, wireworms, and bean leaf
beetles.
There are also huge savings
opportunities for ordering any corn or soybean products. These
savings range from $8-$16 per unit on all units ordered. The
Beck’s family is also offering a 8% cash discount when you pay
for your seed by January 10, 2006.
Beck’s Field Show is fun for
the entire family. Kids and adults can participate in a number
of activities from t-shirt decorating to a Longaberger basket
weaving demonstration. Also, customers who place seed orders
qualify for a free family photo while at the Field Show.
Everyone can enjoy the Special Bonus items given for qualifying
seed purchases as well; tools, jackets, books, and several more
items will be offered for qualifying seed orders. Beck’s Hybrids
is a family-owned seed company since 1937, and serves farmers
throughout Indiana and the surrounding counties in Ohio,
Michigan, Illinois and Kentucky since 1937. |
