Great Lakes Hybrids introduces the Freedom Combination Plan: growers gain added flexibility when combining seed and crop protection product purchases
Ovid, Michigan
December 12, 2005

Great Lakes Hybrids announces a revolutionary new option for growers to help finance both seed and crop protection product purchases for the 2006 growing season.

The Freedom Combination Plan, available January 1 through May 31, 2006, allows growers to make qualified Great Lakes Hybrids seed purchases with Farm Plan™ Prime rate financing, then use the same finance offer to make a qualified purchase of crop protection products, fertilizer or other related crop inputs from an approved retailer. Payments are not due in full until December, 2006.

“By bundling seed and crop input purchases and tying it all together with a competitive finance program, Great Lakes Hybrids has found a way to meet our customers’ changing needs,” says Mike Stephenson, general manager. “Many growers are looking for alternatives to traditional crop input purchases, and we have the solution, with fewer limits than other packaged programs.”

For more than 85 years, Great Lakes Hybrids has been a seed-only company focused on supplying the genetic and service needs of its customers. Great Lakes Hybrids is Generations Ahead, maintaining one of the top four proprietary hybrid corn research programs in the industry – and the only one that is wholly owned by farmers and seedsmen. Every bag of Signature® seed carries the Great Lakes Hybrids name and promise, to deliver value and trusted quality.
