Hubner Seed hires east central Illinois district manager

Hubner Seed Co., Inc., a producer of corn, soybean, wheat and alfalfa seeds operating in 15 states throughout the midwest and east coast, promoted Purdue University graduate, Doug Hubner to east central Illinois district manager.

Hubner will be directly responsible for recruiting, training and developing a network of dealers throughout east central Illinois. His network will sell corn, soybean, wheat and alfalfa seed varieties produced by Hubner Seed.

“We’re excited about Doug’s new role at Hubner,” said Brian Maxwell, sales manager. “Doug knows our products and our clients.”

Hubner was promoted to this position after working at Hubner Seed for five years and graduating from Purdue University.
    
At Purdue University, Hubner graduated with a bachelors of science degree in agronomy. His extracurricular activities included Future Seed Executives, the Indiana Seed Trade Association, Indiana Crop Improvement Association and served as a Purdue Agronomy Ambassador.
