Garst Seed Company promotes Jamesn Wade to District Sales Manager in Indiana
Slater, Iowa
August 25, 2006

Garst Seed Company recently promoted Jameson Wade to district sales manager covering east-central Indiana.

Wade, who will be based out of Greenfield, Ind., will provide expertise to growers and help build Garst’s business and its reputation for providing quality service and products. Wade’s territory includes the following counties in east-central Indiana: Delaware, Randolph, Wayne, Henry, Rush, Union, Fayette and Franklin.

Most recently, Wade was a district sales manager trainee with Garst, working in eastern North Carolina. He promoted and sold both Garst® and NK® brand products. Prior to that, Wade was a product advancement trial intern for Pioneer Hi-Bred International in Princeton, Ind., and a corn research intern for Pioneer in Cairo, Ga. Growing up, Wade helped with his family’s farrow-to-finish hog operation in his hometown of Murray, Ky., and with the production of their corn, soybean and winter wheat crops.

“Jameson has hands-on experience in production agriculture and brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to Garst,” says Gene Kassmeyer, eastern sales manager for Garst Seed Company. “With his strong ag background, he will provide valuable expertise to customers and will be a great addition to the Garst team. We look forward to his accomplishments in Indiana.”

Wade received his bachelor’s degree in agronomy with an emphasis in sales and production from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky.
