This year, the Danish Crop Production Seminar 2007 will be held in conjunction with Agromek, the largest annual agricultural mechanization exhibition in Northern Europe.

The Crop Production Seminar – which guests are welcome to attend completely free of charge – presents cutting edge results and experiences from leading Danish researchers and advisors in areas of crop management and production in which Denmark is at the forefront.

The congress will be held on Thursday, 18 January 2007 in conjunction with Agromek in Herning, Denmark.
Areas that will be covered are: crop protection, nutrition management, animal waste technology, environment technology and robot technology under the titles “Smart plant protection”, “Brave new communication”, “Valuable fertilizer from animal manure”, “Making do with less”, and “Intelligent farm machines”.

Speakers at the sessions are researchers and advisors from the Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences and the Danish Agricultural Advisory Service, National Centre. These two institutes are also the congress organisers and sponsors, in cooperation with Agromek.

Although the sessions are free, we do request that you register for them ahead of time. For more details please have a look at the DIAS website at www.agrsci.org under “Events” or follow the link http://www.lr.dk/planteavl/informationsserier/info-planter/plk07_crop_congress.htm.
