The report is now available of the 24th FAO Regional Conference
for Africa that took place from 30 January to 3 February 2006 in
Bamako, Republic of Mali.
The conference agenda included a
discussion item on the "African Seeds and Biotechnology
Programme" and an information item on "Policy and regulation of
biotechnology in food production".
