Becker Underwood, Inc.,
a global leader in inoculants and seed enhancement technology
including the manufacturing of seed colorant and coating
products, announces a major development in plantability
technology with the debut of Flo Rite® polymer technology.
Flo Rite 1085 is the first product of this new technology
platform. Flo Rite 1085 was developed to enhance the
plantability of seed corn that has been treated with various
seed treatments. Flo Rite 1085, when added to commercial seed
treatments, improves plantability, seed flow in seed
conditioning facilities, seed coverage, appearance, and reduces
dust-off of actives during and after the seed treatment process.
Flo Rite 1085 has unique properties which allow it to be added
with active seed treatment components and Color Coat™ (color of
choice) directly in the tank and applied simultaneously. Time
and money is saved as multiple pumps, multiple polymers or
multiple applications are not required. Talc or additional
polymers are not required during application, but Becker
Underwood always advocates following planter equipment
manufacturer guidelines.
Becker Underwood is excited to introduce this new product to the
market this season. Flo Rite 1085 has also been endorsed by
Syngenta Seed Treatment for use with its Cruiser Extreme® 250
and Cruiser Extreme 1250 seed treatments for corn in the 2007
planting season.
