Agdia, Inc. announces commercialization of mBt-Cry3A ImmunoStrip for testing Agrisure RW seed corn and leaves

Elkhart, Indiana
October 5, 2007

Agdia, Inc., a leading provider of easy-to-use test kits for agricultural diagnostics, announces the commercialization of a new lateral flow strip for testing AgrisureT™ RW seed corn and leaves.

When testing Agrisure™ RW seed corn or leaves, this mBt-Cry3A ImmunoStrip® effectively detects the mBt-Cry3Aa protein from hybrid or inbred seed corn and leaves. Once sample is prepared, test completion times are usually between 3 to 5 minutes.

Agrisure™ RW is a modified synthetic (mCry3Aa) gene from Bacillus thuringiensis for control of corn rootworms.

This new lateral flow test compliments Agdia’s line-up of validated, easy-to-use ImmunoStrips® for identifying
transgenic traits.

Agdia celebrates 25 years of providing diagnostic solutions to agriculture. Agdia offers not only diagnostics test kits, but also a plant pathogen testing services program.
