Wray Seed Company, Tipp City, Ohio has joined the AgVenture, Inc. growing network of independently owned and operated regional seed companies. Effective immediately, the company, now called AgVenture Wray Seeds, will begin marketing AgVenture® brand corn, soybeans and alfalfa to growers in sixteen west central and southwestern Ohio counties.

Cliff Wray, owner of AgVenture Wray Seeds will continue his leadership of the company he founded in 1993. “This company is rooted in delivering cutting edge hybrids and varieties and exceptional, value-added service to our customers. Joining AgVenture firmly benefits our customers in both areas.” Wray continued, “AgVenture’s ability to provide seed companies like Wray Seeds with access to all major trait providers and broad genetics resources means we can deliver optimal performance in locally adapted hybrids and varieties. AgVenture is a great fit for us as it allows us to continue to own and preserve our relationships with our customers, serving them with outstanding seed, and the localized knowledge and support they trust.”

AgVenture, Inc. (AVI) Business Development Manager, Chuck Schneider added, “The addition of AgVenture Wray Seeds provides Ohio growers with valuable access to the traits they need to produce profitably. These growers will see a greatly expanded product line-up from their locally owned, locally produced, serviced and delivered seed company.”

AVI has experienced significant growth across the country in the past two years alone, rapidly climbing into the seed industry’s top ten seed companies. Schneider commented, “Growers appreciate independence. They trust their local seed professionals and products that are developed locally. AgVenture’s expertise is all about providing local seed companies with access to a whole world of traits and genetics that regional seed companies can adapt to suit the needs of their growers. The resulting seed products really do allow both the independent seed company and the grower to grow with confidence.”
