Hobart Brothers (H-B) has hired seed industry veteran Mike
Bieret as Sales and Marketing Manager for the organization.
Based in Lake City, Iowa, AgVenture H-B owner, Jason Phillips
said, “This is a huge milestone for us to bring someone of
Mike’s expertise and experience to our team. And it is all about
the team.” Phillips said the company plans to build their sales
team with Mike’s help. “Mike has an acute perspective on the
changes and specifics within our seed industry now and over
time. His leadership and direction will positively and
powerfully impact area growers’ profitability.”
Bieret has spent 25 years in seed sales and management
positions. The Wall Lake native said, “AgVenture’s
entrepreneurial business model really drew me to this company.
Now, at AgVenture H-B we’re in the process of hiring additional
DSMs. We plan to help them learn our business and to have fun
while putting the customer first in every situation. That’s
unique.”

alfalfa to growers across 17 western and southwestern Iowa
counties.
