August 18, 2008

Jeff Reinbold, Signature Sales Manager for the Thumb of Michigan with Great Lakes Hybrids has won one of the prestigious AGORA sales awards.

The AGORA award is presented to the Top-6 sales people worldwide from Limagrain and all their subsidiaries. The name for the AGORA award comes from the Greek word for marketplace where merchants kept stalls or shops to sell their goods under colonnades.

Nearly 8,000 people work for Limagrain around the world. Limagrain is a farmer-owned cooperative who are half-owners of the parent company of Great Lakes Hybrids, AgReliant Genetics, LLC of Westfield, Ind.

Reinbold and 12 other selected employees from AgReliant brands traveled to France and Belgium in June. There, they toured the farms and facilities of Limagrain and had a two-day meeting and judging competition to see who the worldwide winners would be. Reinbold was the only winner from the U.S.-based AgReliant group for 2008.

“We are thrilled that Jeff has done such a great job representing our brand and his territory by being nominated for this award,” said Jeff Oesterreicher, national sales manager for Great Lakes Hybrids. “The fact that Jeff came home with a top award is icing on the cake to the outstanding job he has done for our brand since he started with Great Lakes 10 years ago.”

“I’d personally like to thank all our dealers, support staff and my family for making this award possible,” added Reinbold. “It is a total team effort that leads to increasing sales and winning awards.”
