.

Kentland, Indiana
July 2, 2008

A western Iowa seed company has made a significant commitment toward growth, and building on its momentum from the past year, AgVenture Hobart Brothers, based at Lake City, is delivering on that promise. AgVenture H-B Sales and Marketing Manager, Mike Bieret said, “By bringing western Iowa farmers greater access to better seed genetics and technologies than they’ve seen in our AgVenture® brand products, demand for our products has grown. Now, so has our team. We’re pleased to have hired Robert Wright from Clarinda, Denny Kasperbauer of Irwin and Grant Aschinger of Wall Lake to serve as District Sales Managers each in their own area.”

Robert Wright, who brings 20-plus years ag sales experience to the team most recently was with Apex Genetics. Wright said, “AgVenture H-B has the intimacy of a small company along with the benefits of this nationwide network of AgVenture independent companies! The AgVenture products are top notch in the industry. With AgVenture, we’re not stuck with one resource for genetics and technology as we have access to all the major seed genetic and trait providers. I’m anxious to share that with my customers in southwest Iowa.” Wright and his wife, Robin have been married for 26 years and have two daughters. They live in Clarinda.

Denny Kasperbauer will be serving a seven county territory centered at Irwin. Kasperbauer, also most recently from Apex Genetics has 16 years seed sales experience and 12 years in the coop fertilizer business backing him up. Denny and his wife have two children. Kasperbauer said, “It is great be able to bring these AgVenture products to western Iowa farmers. It is a luxury to have this level of access and an invaluable resource for growers focused on maximizing their profitability on every acre.”

Grant Aschinger, lives at Wall Lake and will be serving as DSM in Sac, Ida and Woodbury counties. Aschinger holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Morningside College in Sioux City. “This is just a great company to work for. The local control of our independent business is great. We have the decision-making power to help our customers choose what works best for them, not some corporate mandate telling us what to sell. That is distinctly different.” Grant and his wife have one daughter.

AgVenture H-B president, Jason Phillips said, “These are three individuals who know and understand the seed industry. We’re excited about our company’s growth. We have such great access to outstanding seed products that are exceptionally adapted to this area that it’s hard to hold back the enthusiasm we have for our customers’ profitability potential. In addition, it’s just great to have the opportunity to choose great people, build a solid team and have fun doing what we like best.”
