China produced 14 million tonnes of peppers
in 2007. This
report offers official figures on bell and chilli
pepper production, exports and imports in the APAC country.

pepper overview: India accounted for 32% of the world’s dry
chilli and peppers production in 2007 while Pakistan
contributed by 5,5% of total production in the world.
