December 28, 1999Great Lakes Hybrids, the leading seed company in the
National Corn Growers Association's Corn Yield Contest, has produced more winners per
entry in the 1990s than any other company in the Midwest.
"Our worldwide genetic research program has created top-performing hybrids that have
proven themselves in an outstanding fashion in this elite, national arena in each of the
past 10 years," said Mike Stephenson, president of Great Lakes Hybrids.
"In that time span, we've produced a higher winning percentage than companies like
Pioneer, DeKalb and Novartis."
