For our subsidiary in the USA we are looking for a General Manager, United States of America (M/F)

Your challenge is to further strengthen our position in the American market through identifying and pursuing commercial opportunities and overseeing Hazera Seeds, Inc.’s activities. Your personal input will make a difference. You will be based in Florida and will report to the Regional Commercial Director Americas.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of Hazera Seeds, Inc while leading and motivating the team.
• Ensure the creation and implementation of a mid-term plan designed to grow the business.
• Manage and develop the sales, margin, and profitability contribution in the US market while generating new business and maintaining contacts with large accounts.
• Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports.
• Manage and supervise financial and commercial business matters like price and credit policy, forecasting etc.
• Efficiently liaise and work with the other functions within the Hazera Seeds organization.

Profile:

• Strategic insights for commercial development.
• Good understanding of the seed industry or of the professional agricultural environment in the USA;
• Higher educational level in Agriculture and/or Business Administration.
• Extensive proven commercial management experience preferably for an international company.
• People-oriented management style.
• Professional reporting and computer skills.
• Strong action-driven personality and self-motivation.
• Driving License.
• Willing to travel frequently (national and international).
