Ad Terram has established an exclusive agreement with Agrii the leading provider of agronomy service, technology and strategic advice in the UK.
Agrii has set up a state-of-the-art seed treatment centre at Agrii’s Throws Farm Technology Centre in Essex. Built and installed by TeaL Agro Technologies, the new facility allows high value vegetable seed to be treated with the greatest precision, temperature and moisture-control care for the best seed quality and protection. In this way the UK seed industry have access to a growing range of environmentally-friendly, rapidly biodegradable, microplastic-free film coatings.
Agrii will provide the UK market with the 100% organic, non-polymer and microplastic free coatings from Ad Terram. These products can also be supplied as pre-mixes containing Ad Terram’s very own range of biostimulants which can help promote the intake of nutrients and help increase the stress tolerance resulting in stronger, healthier crops.
“Our new facility is designed to serve the conventional as well as organic seed trade,” explains Agrii regional commercial director, Neil Ross, stressing the growing importance of environmental sustainability in the UK field vegetable market.
“As the only seed treatment machine of its type in the country, we are using it to provide the highest quality treatments to deliver this for a broad range of vegetable seed.”
Under the agreement with Ad Terram, Agrii will also be supplying Ad Terram’s range of advanced bulb and foliar-applied biostimulants across the UK.
