Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA
October 23, 2014

  • TED Talks-style videos feature Syngenta experts
  • Series addresses key topics in corn and soybean production
Syngenta has released a new series of Crop Talk videos showcasing growers’ biggest challenges and how the company is committed to providing solutions. Formatted after “TED Talks,” which are insightful video presentations that have gained online popularity, the informative Syngenta Crop Talk series addresses critical farming issues in three-minute presentations viewable on the FarmAssist website.

“The Crop Talk videos showcase key agronomic and production challenges that farmers routinely face,” said Wendell Calhoun, communications manager at Syngenta. “Our Syngenta experts provide background information on these issues and discuss the tools we have to help mitigate these challenges and help farmers grow more corn and soybeans.”

Video topics include: soybean cyst nematode, higher corn yield to meet increased demand, accelerated breeding technologies, challenges in weed control, output traits for ethanol and Syngenta’s The Good Growth Plan.

“As farmers begin to prepare for the 2015 season, these videos provide insight about the latest issues in agriculture and how Syngenta technologies help increase yield,” Calhoun said.
