 The
Mexican Seed Trade Association is the only
Association of its kind in Mexico, represents National
and International seed companies that work in our
country.
Their members have a number of activities related to
seeds, such as growers, scientists, researchers and
traders both for professional growers as for wholesaler
sales.
They also provide technical assistance in seed related
businesses.
Our main objective is to represent, speak upon and
promote the technologies related to the correct and
efficient use of seeds in benefit of local growers.

Among our core objectives are:
- To represent he members of the
trade and research seed industry in Mexico.
- Be a participant in Mexico s
economic, technological and scientific development in the
areas of agriculture and seed technology.
- To be supportive of Federal and
local Government in the task of creating, revising and
modifying any laws or rules oriented to improve the general
use of seeds in Mexico.
- To promote the correct use of
certified and improved seeds in those areas where they are
not currently used, to assist the producers in improving
their competitiveness.
- To conduct activities that brings
benefits to our associates in the achievement of their
business goals.
- To promote the correct and moderate
use of natural resources by the public, the growers and all
of our associates.
Our
Association is formed by seed companies and individuals and it s
ruled by its principles and codes of ethics and work.
We have a 5 companies board of Directors that it s elected every
year at our annual convention, to be celebrated in the month of
October.
Our board meetings are open to our Associates and are done on a
calendar basis.
