USA - Syngenta launches email Digest to deliver timely, regionally relevant agronomic information

Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
September 30, 2014

  • The “Know More, Grow More Digest” delivers content from “Know More, Grow More,” the Syngenta agronomy blog
  • Blog provides regular updates across all crops from the company’s nationwide team of expert agronomists
Syngenta is giving growers throughout the U.S. even more direct access to comprehensive agronomic information with the launch of the new “Know More, Grow More Digest.” With regular delivery to email inboxes, the Digest will provide readers with timely, geographically selected content that provides a birds-eye view of what’s happening across crops and helps aid management decisions.

All content in the Digest comes from “Know More, Grow More,” a Syngenta resource designed to provide U.S. growers with agronomic expertise directly from the field. The blog is produced by the company’s team of agronomists, with all content categorized by region, crop and agronomic topic to make it easy to access the most relevant information.

Launched in September, the “Know More, Grow More Digest” takes these materials and sends it to readers based on the regions they select. Distributed twice a month, the Digest provides all of the latest “Know More, Grow More” updates including information such as:
  • Tips for harvest preparation and anticipating crop maturity timing
  • Fall management recommendations for next year’s growing season
  • In-the-field updates on insect, disease and weed sightings
  • Season-long crop progress updates
  • Real-time field trial and plot results
  • Local weather conditions and their impact
“When we launched ‘Know More, Grow More,’ our intent was to equip growers with the right agronomic information at the right time to help them make the right decisions,” said Chris Cook, Syngenta head of technical training and resources in North America. “The Digest takes this a step further, making it even easier for growers to tap into the vast knowledge of our expert agronomy team.”
