Responsibilities

The Scientist is responsible for developing new and improved hybrids by implementing plant breeding techniques, analyzing research data, and presenting recommendations to Research management. Designs, conducts and analyzes experiments to improve germ plasm.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should have a PhD or equivalent with 10 years work experience and significant contributions in a commercial hybrid breeding program with evidence of success, i.e. track record of developing commercially viable parent lines and hybrids.
