THE COMPANY
Down to earth. That's what STET is. Exporter of seed potatoes since 1973. Strong in the development, production, breeding and export of robust high-quality potato varieties that come with the right resistance package. Not just any potatoes, but proven products that meet the expectations of their customers and rapidly changing (market) circumstances. After all, 'Potatoes are life'.
With its head office in the Dutch city of Emmeloord, STET also has offices in the United Kingdom and France. With around 40 staff who work on crop management, sales, logistics and the full range of support facilities involved in serving customers. STET grows and exports seed potatoes for the fresh produce wholesale market as well as the processing industry to more than 50 countries.
STET acts as a link between the buyer and the potato grower and is undergoing rapid development. Its market position is growing stronger while efforts are being made to future-proof the organisation. Sustainability, circular agriculture, internationalisation, professionalisation, improvements in terms of efficiency and the implementation of a new ERP system are examples of how services are being optimised.
STET is part of the Royal HZPC Group. With its own brand, strategy and position in the market, STET has a distinctive position within this group. Internally, cooperation takes place within various Shared services teams that achieve efficiency in the overall scheme of things.
