About Sesaco Corporation and the Production Division

SESACO is the premier genetic developer, processor, and marketer of U.S. grown sesame. SESACO has used traditional breeding and selection to develop the only non-dehiscent (ND) varieties in the world. ND sesame changes the way sesame has been cultivated and harvested for 7,500 years. During these 7,500 years sesame has been valued as an input efficient crop in areas wherever water shortage is a concern. Using SESACO’s proprietary varieties, farmers throughout the Southern U.S. are discovering that sesame can effectively extend resources and will positively return value as a rotation component in their operation. Its goal is to be a stable safe supplier of high quality sesame to the world. The Production Division is responsible for marketing to, contracting with, and providing agronomic support to producers to successfully grow sesame that meets the quality of sesame the sales team requires to secure margin with our customers.
