The vacancy of Greenhouse Technical Sales & Account Management

The Greenhouse Technical Sales & Account Management position is responsible for technical support for the greenhouse business of Rijk Zwaan varieties in the eastern region, crop lead for greenhouse cucumbers / peppers and Account Management for the large customers.
Responsible for product development which involves new variety evaluation, semi commercial and commercial trial evaluations with commercial customers. 
Reports to the Greenhouse business manager regarding market developments and product performance.

Location is Ontario, Canada. 
Travel within the US & Canada is part of the job with a possibility of occasional trips to Holland & Mexico.
Estimate is 30 % of time involves travel depending on the person's location.

We are seeking a Greenhouse Technical Sales & Account Management Person with:

• Minimum of  B.Sc.  Agriculture, Horticulture  or related field
• Minimum of  5-10 years experience in the greenhouse industry
• Growing experience in a greenhouse  environment preferred
• Good written and communication skills
• Team oriented
• High level of motivation and ability to work independently.
• Strong  interest in product knowledge.
• Reputation of ethical and credible behaviour
• Good social skills and interest  to develop long term industry relationships.
