Purpose: to address the importance of overcoming specificity, efficiency and delivery challenges associated with the CRISPR/Cas9 system. Pioneers will showcase the expanding biomedical and therapeutic potential of gene editing tools for drug discovery and development.
The program is aimed at professionals who are directly or indirectly involved in plant breeding and germplasm improvement. The course covers basics of DNA markers, quantitative trait loci, association studies and genomic selection.
