Chemtura Corporation, debtor-in-possession, (Pink Sheets: CEMJQ; the “Company”) reported that it had today filed its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the first quarter of 2009. This release summarizes the financial results and investors are encouraged to review the Form 10-Q for more details of the performance for the quarter. The Company recorded a net loss of $94 million, or $0.39 per share, for the first quarter of 2009 and a net loss on a managed basis of $26 million, or $0.11 per share for the quarter.
