The facts about high-quality sorting: ROEBER OS 900 repeats outstanding sorting results

GErmany
August 19, 2016

Gain 25% germination capacity. Reduce problematic impurities and defects by 55-75%. Detect tiny fissures and increase seed sales. Applying ROEBER OS 900 optical sorting technologies ensures outstanding results. Several testing events and working experiences proved the superiority of the OS 900 when it comes to impurity recognition and reduction.

Accompanying field tests were conducted in order to verify achieved results in the PETKUS technology center in Wutha-Farnroda (Germany). The samples taken were analysed by independent laboratories. The OS 900 repetitively showed outstanding results, also in comparison to a well-known competitor machine. Field lots with problematic impurities, which reduced the germination capacity below the legal requirements, could be saved from discard and could be sold to the market with official certification. Due to precision sorting, the seed loss was reduced to a minimum. In addition, the OS 900 showed a highly efficient re-sort mode while running high capacities.
