This year, Bejo welcomes lettuce as a new crop in its assortment. We will therefore enthusiastically be presenting a wide and strong assortment of lettuce varieties during Fruit Logistica. Naturally, you will also find interesting vegetable concepts at our stand again, that serve as inspiration and that we would be happy to discuss with you in more detail.
Lettuce
Quality seed for Iceberg, Batavia, Butterhead, Lollo, Oak Leaf and Babyleaf now form part of the Bejo assortment. We are therefore extremely enthusiastic about presenting a selection of existing and new varieties. The varieties presented give a healthy crop in the field and are full of taste for consumers. Resistance in lettuce varieties is extremely important for growers. Bejo’s lettuce assortment is exceptionally strong in that regard. In addition to good cultivation qualities, our Times (Iceberg), Agribel (Batavia) and Malis (Butterhead) varieties meet the disease resistance requirements for Western Europe well, so good varieties for successful supermarket sales.
Delicioni fresh onion
As a fresh onion, Delicioni is a highly interesting expansion to the assortment of storage onions and bunching onions considered traditional within the chain. The bulb of the fresh onion is particularly juicy and has a powerful flavour. The stems are very decorative and tasty too. Delicioni is attractively presented in a bunch of three with various colours. Thanks to this colour range, the fresh onion presents beautifully on both plates and shelves. The juicy and crunchy bite and the powerful flavour makes this onion a wonder companion for salads and grilling.
Inspiration
Bejo sees the trade fair as a platform for meeting partners within the chain, aiming to inspire them with new applications for crops, processing and consumption. Other concepts that Bejo is bringing to the visitors’ attention are Kohrispy (koolrabi snacks), Coolwrap (wraps of white cabbage leaves – cabbage rolls) and Cool Carrot Candy (carrot snacks). With the veggie corner, in which radish is also presented, we are perfectly in line with current food trends. Within the Taste-Health-Convenience theme, Bejo develops tasty varieties such as Konan (kohlrabi), Balada (celery), Mokum (carrots) or Rosetta (radish), which lend themselves perfectly for raw and for ready-prepared applications. The concepts that Bejo presents on the stand will also be presented in an extra special way to interested parties in the chain at a special event on the evening of Wednesday, 8 February. On this occasion, invited participants will also have an opportunity to try the dishes and discuss them.
Organic
Bejo is a leader in organic varieties and communicates its vision through the ‘ORGANIC - RIGHT FROM THE START’ concept. Very appropriately, we will be inviting interested parties to start the day with an organic breakfast at 9.15 a.m. on Friday, 10 February. During this tasty start to the day, Bejo is set to share the latest marketing information and present new varieties in its organic assortment.

Bejo biedt attractieve concepten en ´een frisse blik op sla´ op Fruit Logistica
Bejo verwelkomt dit jaar sla als nieuw gewas in haar assortiment. We presenteren daarom tijdens Fruit Logistica met enthousiasme een uitgebreid en sterk assortiment sla rassen. Daarnaast vindt u bij ons uiteraard weer interessante groente concepten die dienen ter inspiratie en waarover we graag met u verder van gedachten wisselen.
Sla
Kwaliteitszaad van ijsbergsla, batavia, botersla, lollo, eikenbladsla en babyleaf maakt nu deel uit van het Bejo assortiment. We zijn dan ook uitermate enthousiast om een selectie van bestaande en nieuwe rassen voor te stellen. De gepresenteerde rassen geven een gezond gewas op het veld, en zijn smakelijk voor de consument. Resistenties in sla rassen zijn zeer belangrijk voor de teler. Het sla assortiment van Bejo is hierin uitermate sterk. Onze rassen Times (IJsberg), Agribel (Batavia) en Malis (Botersla) hebben goede teelteigenschappen en voldoen goed aan de resistentie-eisen van de West-Europese markt, prima rassen dus voor een succesvolle verkoop in de supermarkt.
Delicioni verse ui
Delicioni is als verse ui een uitermate interessante uitbreiding op het in de keten gangbare assortiment bewaaruien en stengeluien. De bol van de verse ui is bijzonder sappig en krachtig van smaak. Het loof is mooi decoratief en ook zeer smaakvol. Delicioni wordt in verschillende kleuren aantrekkelijk per drie in een bos gepresenteerd. Dankzij deze kleurschakering toont de verse ui zich prachtig op het bord en in het schap. De sappige en knapperige bite en de krachtige smaak maakt deze ui zeer geschikt voor gebruik in bv. salades en om te grillen.

Inspireren
Bejo ziet de vakbeurs als een platform voor gesprekken met partners in de keten, die zij inspireert tot nieuwe toepassingen voor de teelt, verwerking en consumptie. Andere concepten die Bejo onder de aandacht brengt, zijn Kohrispy (koolrabi snacks), Coolwrap (wraps van witte koolbladeren - cabbage rolls - ) en Cool Carrot Candy (snack peen). Met de veggie corner in de stand, waarin ook radijs getoond wordt, sluiten we perfect aan bij de huidige voedingstrends. Binnen het gevoerde thema’s Taste-Health-Convenience ontwikkelt Bejo smakelijke rassen – zoals Konan (koolrabi), Balada (bleekselderij), Mokum (wortel) of Rosetta (radijs) – die zich uitstekend lenen voor rauwe en ook kant- en klaar toepassingen. Voorbeelden hiervan kunt u zien en proeven bij Bejo tijdens Fruit Logistica.
De concepten die Bejo op de stand toont, worden tijdens een speciaal event op woensdagavond 8 februari via een extra bijzondere manier gepresenteerd aan belangstellenden uit de keten. Bij deze gelegenheid is er voor genodigde deelnemers tevens de mogelijkheid de gerechten te proeven en hierover te discussiëren.
Biologisch
Bejo loopt voorop in biologische rassen en draagt haar visie uit met het concept ‘ORGANIC - RIGHT FROM THE START’. Zeer toepasselijk nodigen wij geïnteresseerden uit om de dag te starten met een biologisch ontbijt, op vrijdag 10 februari vanaf 09.15 uur. Tijdens dit smakelijk begin van de dag zal Bejo de laatste marktinformatie delen en nieuwe rassen uit haar biologische assortiment presenteren.
