Assistant Customer Operations and Shipping-Seasonal

Job Responsibilities Customer Service:
This role is primarily responsible for assisting customer operations. This role works with both external customers and internal including Sales, Operations, Product Supply, Research and Development, Logistics, and Finance Assist in the complete Order to Bill Process for customer orders from receipt to invoice generation, including order entry and confirmation to ensure accurate and timely pricing, terms and invoicing Provide superior Customer Service every day by building strong business relationships with internal and external customers Act as a support and resource for Sales, Marketing, Master Data, Quality, Operations and our the Customers This role is best for someone who has excellent skills in time management, communication, research, organization, attention to detail and computer skills Ensure ongoing adherence to all policies, procedures, and processes so that the results will satisfy any audit review
Skills/Qualifications:
- High School degree
- Experience with international shipping and trade and compliance a plus
- Competencies include strong written and oral communication skills, problem solving, and innovation.
- Technical proficiencies in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Demonstrates ownership of projects and supports culture of meritocracy
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities, meet established deadlines and excel in a team environment.
- Good English speaking and writing capabilities
- Organization: set and comply with milestones and deadlines
- Communication: clear, concise and organized writing and speaking skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent experience with ERP systems a plus
- Able to work independently, acting with sense of urgency and as an owner
