Canadian Seed Growers Association.- Consultation on Industrial Hemp Isolation Requirements

Canada
September 8, 2025

CSGA is inviting feedback on proposed revisions to the isolation requirements for dioecious and monoecious industrial hemp seed crops producing Foundation, Registered and Certified status seed, as outlined in Sections 10 and 11 of Circular 6.

The consultation focuses on the minimum isolation distances required between inspected hemp seed crops and other hemp crops. The proposed revisions aim to simplify and streamline the current requirements while maintaining the integrity of the certification system. Our consultation document provides a detailed summary of the issue, background information, and key considerations. Click here for more info
