Inari strengthens commercial operations with senior appointments

Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
August 27, 2019

Former CEO of leading seed association Todd Martin and seed veteran Scott Keetle join Inari to advance company’s commercial effort

Commercial team will collaborate closely with independent seed companies and bring technology to growers

Inari, the next-generation seed company, is strengthening its commercial team with the addition of two senior industry leaders, Todd Martin and Scott Keetle.

Martin, former CEO of the Independent Professional Seed Association (IPSA), with more than 30 years of experience in agriculture, joins Inari as vice president of commercial development.

Keetle, a seed professional for 20 years, who held senior positions at AgReliant Genetics and Corn States, comes on board as general manager within the commercial operations leadership team.

Martin and Keetle will be responsible for advancing Inari’s commercial offer through close collaboration with the independent seed companies that will deliver the company’s technology to growers.

“Inari is building a commercial operations team that comprises the perfect blend of seed experience and deep industry relationships,” said Mark Stowers, chief operations officer and president, North America, for Inari.

“Todd and Scott each have remarkable strengths that will enable us to continue to grow our seed business and pave the way for the successful commercial introduction of high performance corn and soybean seeds in the U.S. market.”

Inari’s unique ability to combine computational science with advanced plant breeding enables the company to develop higher-yielding, climate-resilient crops faster and more efficiently than traditional methods. The company has a rich pipeline of innovative seeds across major crops that will bring significant benefits to growers, both economically and environmentally.
