Westland Seeds has completed its acquisition by the current management team, marking a significant milestone in the company’s history. The company, founded in 2008 by Wim Grootscholten, is now fully owned by the management team, led by Iwan van Vliet and Ferry Strik.

Following the acquisition, Van Vliet and Strik, who became co-shareholders and joined the management team on January 1, 2019, now hold full ownership of Westland Seeds.

This transition also marks the end of an era, as Wim Grootscholten steps away from the company after years of dedication and success in the paprika breeding industry. His vision and commitment have shaped Westland Seeds since its inception and remain a key foundation for the company’s future growth and innovation.
