The Supervisory Board of Enza Zaden has appointed Alexander Wessels as Chairman effective July 1, 2025. With this appointment, he succeeds Gerard de Reuver, who has served as chairman of the Supervisory Board since his appointment in May 2018.

Alexander (“Xander”) Wessels is an experienced executive and supervisory board member with a strong international track record in the life sciences, chemistry, and food sectors. As former CEO of Caldic and Archroma, he has demonstrated leadership in complex, international environments. His experience with family businesses, innovation, and sustainable growth aligns seamlessly with the mission and values of Enza Zaden.
