Last November 8th, SynTech Research Portugal  passed the inspection from Instituto Português da Qualidade (IPQ) to increase the areas of expertise of its GLP certificate.

The new area of expertise has been obtained by doing studies of Dislodgeable Foliar Residues (DFRs), whose aim is to determine the amount of residues which can be dislodged from crop foliage to operators after application of plant protection products (PPP).

New GLP certificate covers the field studies with PPP of residues (area nº6) as well as operator exposure studies (area nº9).

From now on, SynTech Research Portugal becomes the first company doing DFR trials in Portugal. Just as SynTech Research Spain did 20 years ago, SynTech Research Portugal gains a leading position on research and development sector of plant protection products in the country.
